VMP Holding joined the Paint Materials for Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Committee of Soyuzkraska association.

VMP Research Holding was among the first members of the Paint Materials for Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Committee set up on May 5, 2023 as part of Soyuzkraska association. The organization also included major company in the industry: AO Russkie Kraski, OOO AKZ Pokrytiya, Holding Company Pigment, NPO 812, and Research and Design Institute for Coatings and Pigments (NIPROINS). Director General of NIPROINS Yuliya Dmitriyeva was elected as a chairperson.

The professional community was set up to prevent the shipbuilders from being dependent on the import of paint materials, meet their growing demand, and solve urgent issues of certification and validation of paint materials in the shipbuilding industry. Enterprises and companies of the paint industry can join the organization by applying to the Commission or Soyuzkraska association.

Modern and technologically advanced VMP anticorrosive materials have been used over the years for protecting the underwater part of the vessel hull, broadside, decks and superstructures, various tanks, cofferdams and buoyancy compartments, crew quarters, as well as controlled spaces of nuclear ice-breakers and floating NPPs.
