The Acting Minister of Investment and Development for the Sverdlovsk Region visited the VMP production complex in Aramil

The VMP Research and Production holding is increasing its output. The demand for products is growing, including due to its own scientific developments.

“For 30 years, we have been engaged in the production of industrial coatings. This is not just production – we are developing science which is the basis of our competitiveness. For many years, our materials have been an example of import substitution, and today we see a growth in demand. We have long-term plans for investment, expansion of production, modernization of current capacities and investing a significant share of our profits in development”, said Mikhail Vakhrushev, President of VMP Holding.

Today, the Ural VMP plant is operating at full capacity, and this year it will produce at least 15000 tons of products. Due to the expansion, a new multifunctional logistics center is being built on the territory of the complex, which will allow increasing labor productivity at this site by one and a half times. The plant’s investments amounted to 210 million rubles, the project received “priority” status and support of regional authorities.

“The VMP enterprise has been working in the field of import substitution for quite a long time, increasing the volume of products and the number of countries it cooperates with. It is especially valuable that the enterprise follows its investment plans. It's quite logical since the demand for the holding’s products, given the enterprise uses its own scientific developments, develops”, said Elena Khlybova, Acting Minister of Investment and Development for the Sverdlovsk Region.

Members of the delegation admired the work done within the investment project, highly appreciated the modern production of paintwork VMP materials and expressed their willingness to assist in searching and training staff. Today, the company employs more than 500 people, and requires additional employees, including electricians, mechanics, material preparation operators and other specialists.
