The VMP Holding participated in the Industry Day of heads of corrosion protection divisions of Gazprom Group, which was held from May 23 to May 27 in Astrakhan.
Christina Vorozheina, the Head of Gas Industry Projects at VMP Holding, made a report on solutions to current problems in the scope of investment facilities protection using the VMP coatings in the of import substitution conditions.
The participants of the meeting discussed the issues of optimization of costs for the operation of electrochemical protection equipment, application of protective coatings and corrosion inhibitors, introduction of innovative means and corrosion protection materials, rational design of corrosion protection systems, enhancement of professional training for specialists in the sphere of protection against corrosion.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the specialized department of PAO Gazprom, subsidiary pipeline and gas-producing companies, research and design institutes, industrial facilities.
